A Bit of Humour

A Buddhist monk strolled into a Zen pizza parlor and said, "Make me one with everything on it."

The owner obliged. When he turned over the pizza with all the trimmings, the monk gave him a twenty-dollar bill, which the owner just stuck in the cash register.

"Where's my change?" the monk asked.

The owner replied, "Change must come from within."

  1. Hello Joanne! Love your site... .After spinning pizza pies in our comments - your brother Augy linked me over, I'm glad he did, too!

Thanks for sharing "A Bit of Humour" with us. Please forgive my humor (and broken English), but if I were the Zen monk, and ever thought about strolling back to the Zen pizza parlor. Why, I'd spin some Zen on the master pizza maker, by giving him a crisp twenty-dollar bill, and then ask him for "one peace" and to "keep the change alive."

Now, that's from within! I better spin outta here. Again, thanks Nancy!! Please send my regards to your brother Augy!! He's a living legend!!! and of course, a dear friend!!!

    With deep respect yours,
    Doug

  4. Joanne, thank you for such a sweet compliment. I cannot take any credit away from God, my family and friends, they helped to restore my sense of humor. Of course, (chuckling) "I Am" a work in progress.

Facto-rama: Humor celebrates the goodness of God, the world He created, and the life He gives; this goes especially for my second chance at life.

May you have a wonderful week to come, watch out for flaming guitars and spinning pizza pies, especially in your kitchen. :)

    With deep respect yours,
    Doug

  5. Hello Joanne! I'm not sure if you are a mom, but after 31 years of teaching, you must have enough kids to fill a football stadium. And so...

Happy Mom's Day to all my wonderful friends and your families - Wishing many blessings as you all continue to live your life La Frugalista!

    With much respect,
    Doug
